Sarah Juarez (Therapist)

Sabah Pinto

Therapist

Hi, I’m Sarah Juarez, a first-generation Latina Canadian and a Registered Social Worker with a deep commitment to supporting individuals through life’s challenges. My personal and professional journey has been shaped by navigating multiple cultural identities, and I bring this understanding into the heart of my therapeutic work.

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, moving through a major life transition, or simply seeking more balance, I offer a space where you can feel seen, supported, and empowered. I believe healing begins when we feel truly heard—and I’m here to help you reconnect with your inner strength, purpose, and self-worth.

My Approach

My approach is warm, holistic, and trauma-informed. I tailor each session to your unique needs, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindful self-compassion. I also integrate somatic awareness and spiritual practices, supporting healing of the mind, body, and spirit.

As someone who honors both the science of psychology and the wisdom of spiritual and cultural traditions, I offer a whole-person approach that respects your lived experience. Whether you’re exploring identity, managing burnout, or working through long-held emotional pain, I strive to create a safe, collaborative space where growth and healing can unfold.

As a Latina woman, I understand the complexities of cultural expectations, intergenerational experiences, and the pressure to hold everything together. I bring a culturally responsive and anti-oppressive lens to therapy and am passionate about helping others rewrite the narratives that no longer serve them.

Therapy can feel vulnerable—but it can also be a powerful turning point. If you’re here and considering taking the next step, know that you don’t have to do it alone. I look forward to walking alongside you on your path toward healing, connection, and growth.
